Signature Weddings
Great couples make our lives a lot easier! Cian and Dawn were a pleasure to work with, the day started out in Cian's family home, the breakfast rolls were in plenty and we even had some Elvis on the record player! It was just after Christmas so the house was decorated, the tree was up and there was a real festive feel in the air! There was a really good atmosphere, the groomsmen where there along with Cian's mam, dad and sisters. After an hour or so there we took a trip across the bridge to Dawn's family home, the house was stunning and the hair and makeup was in full swing! Everyone was in great form, Dawn was ready on time so we got some lovely shots of her in her dress in the house, along with the first look with her family! We always say this to our brides, stick to your timeline, be ready on time as its lovely to have these special shots in the dress at home! We know things can run over so just give yourself enough time so you are not rushing and trust us you will enjoy your morning so much more when everything runs smoothly!
We then left Dawn to go to Langton's in Kilkenny where the ceremony and afters where on. We always like to get to the ceremony location with at least half an hour to spare so we can set up the best shots. After the ceremony the photographer Darragh Mc Cann (Stargaze Photography) took us on a walk through Kilkenny up to the castle. We got some amazing footage on the way to the castle and WOW, the castle did not disappoint! If you want a wedding location in a city with a stunning backdrop for photos then Kilkenny Castle is a location you need to look at! Langton's is a great wedding venue, you can have your ceremony in the Set Theatre, then straight out the door to your drinks reception, it's a 5 minute (if your not in heels) walk to Kilkenny Castle and then back to Langton's for your dinner and afters!
